Journey To Yourland

Riki, 10, runs away from home following an enigmatic emergency signal which leads him to the parallel world of "Yourland". Originally called "Heart of a Tower", this is the first animated feature film I worked on and I was involved on the Belgian side from the very start. I was part of the core team that was consulted for the script, researched the technolgoy behind the production and tested the pipeline. The unique thing about Journey to Yourland is that it was made in Unity. In fact, it is the first animated feature film in the world made in a game engine. The Czech and Slovak studios were responsible for the Modeling, Texturing, Set Dressing and Animation, while we imported the sets in Unity, did the Layout, the Lighting and the FX. This is where the cross-media approach in my work at THE PACK started.
