Metromorphosis

My Bachelor film was inspired by my commute on the trams and metros of Brussels. In a dystopian version of the Brussels subway, a wayward gypsy called Jean fights the frigid atmosphere and the establishment. After his umpteenth attempt, he meets a strange little girl. An event that will change both their lives for good. It's quite the simple premise about conformity and safetyism that my 20-year old self was interested in, represented by a classic contradiction between colors and greys à la Raoul Servais. Being my first 3D film, I went fully into low-poly 3D modeling with scanned-in watercolor textures. All aspects of the film were done by me except the sound.
