Watercolor Poses

This class at the Anderlecht Academy of Visual and Audiovisual Arts taught children aged ten to eleven how to sketch models using watercolors. One by one, a student (or a group of students) stepped forward and stood there for one minute in a pose of their own choosing. The others were instructed to paint the pose within their grid using a single color and to add a little bit of a different color with each new pose. In this way, by the end of the class, everyone had created gradients of dancing figures.
